What would people think if I told them about this situation? What would my friends say I'm not asking this out of insecurity, just wanting to explore her perspective in my mind. If a completely liberated person allows other people a glimpse into his existence, most of them probably react with astonishment, rejection, maybe even with anger. It's their own ego that prevents them from opening their minds to anything that doesn't conform to the norm. They lack acceptance, not so much with the other person, much more with themselves. Maybe it just intimidates them.
